I got some free time today, so I made this one =w=
based on people votes Derick is the next, so here he is!

Q: What are they?
They can be either called Nation Child or NEXT. Hetalia NEXT Generation is an AU of BlueStorm-Studio original Hetalia OCs of nation offsprings! Basically, it's an OCs of children born from Hetalia nations. They could born from 2 nation, or just a nation with non-nation (ordinary human). Either way, they could be called "The Second Generation". NEXT Generation is not related to any historical events.

Q: Do they represent anything?
Well, nothing at the moment. If I have to say, they're "The 2nd". Like Japan the 2nd, America the 2nd, England the 2nd, etc. Their personality is based on their parents and some quirk they have from themselves (because no child can completely inherit all their parents' traits). Once again, THEY ARE NOT RELATED TO ANY HISTORICAL EVENT.

BIOGRAPHY:
Derick, though stiff and frightful has nothing lowly or unworthy about him, or so he is determined to prove.
His father left him to his uncle when he was a baby, thus he was adopted. He became known as a black sheep among the superiors, received quite a discrimination and rather distasteful remarks. Thus as he grew up, he became a hard worker and complete perfectionist, all in order to prove himself to those people in high places; his most important goal, as well as his greatest obsession. He’s quite competitive and hates losing more than anything.
Being rather ill-tempered, an ever growing hate for the ones who disturb his order began to sprout inside of him; besides his inflexible and arbitrary actions, he also has a hard time trusting others, and expressing his feelings properly; after all, despite appearing cold and unbreakable, he gets rather flustered and overwhelmed by social interaction.

LOOKS:
Derick is a tall, muscular young man with fierce expression. He has very short strawberry blond hair and cherrywood brown eyes. He has a scar across his forehead, a sharp canine teeth, and bandaid on his cheek. Derick wears a black jacket with grey tank top underneath, as well as grey pants and black army boots. He also wears an Iron Cross necklace; it seems it was a memento from his real father. His choices of clothing are either something with "manly" fashion or proper attires.

RELATIONSHIPS:

(foster) Little sister:
As his little sister, Derick is somewhat strict towards her. Although they're always seen squabbling with each other, they're actually get along well as siblings. He's also overprotective towards Laura in terms of her romantic tendencies.


Cousin:
Because of their bad temper and competitive nature, it's very easy for them to built hate for each other. They aren't hesitate to start a fistfight whenever they reached a dispute.


Cousin:
Because it was Rudolph that he hates, he doesn't really thought much about him. Although he's way too easy-going attitude really ticks him off.


Cousin:
He's the least among his cousins that could get on his nerves. Derick really applauds David's proper and taciturn attitude.


Childhood friends:
It seems they're used to play together when they're smaller. Although they're not really in chemistry anymore, so they didn't get along all that good now.


Cowardly little twit:
He knows Gerhard is not a bad person, but hates him because he's Laura's romantic interest. That's why he searched for any reasons to make him looks bad; such as how irritatingly tall he is, his wasted enormous strength, his annoying meek attitude, etc.


IMBECILES:
As a Hall Monitor, Derick have a looooong list of rulebreakers around the school; he remembers EVERY single one of them and won't let them get away no matter what.


Weird junior:
For some reason, Derick always saw Alita quite often. She's acts as somewhere between giddy and/or scared he doesn't know why and won't ponders too much about it.


DANGEROUS PERSON:
He had a bad experience with Roger and swore to never get involved again. Even until this day he's still really scared by being in the same room as him.


TRIVIA:
Derick's scar is something he got since he was a baby. He doesn't know when and how did he got it.
Do not say anything Harry Potter-related regarding his scar.
Because technically Prussia is no longer a country, Derick has no title to inherit. That is why he shares the title "Deutschland the 2nd" together with Laura.
Derick's birthday, 24 December, is not actually his birthday. It was because Gilbert left him to Ludwig with almost no explanation, the day he was adopted became his birthday.
He likes affogato but he's embarrassed to drink it in front of other people.
Derick's biggest hobby is constructing, collecting, and arranging railway scale model. He got a massive diorama in his house of miniature railways.
Derick is the honor student in his school that scored the highest in both academics and PE. But it always been a deep-neck differences between him and Rudolph.
Derick is the president of Disciplinary Committee and he took his job VERY seriously.
Derick is skilled in Kickboxing. He choose a martial art that requires nothing but his own body rather than using weapons.
Derick likes dogs. He likes to play with 3 of his dogs around the house.
Most of his achievements are based on his own hard work. He never brags about himself without backing it up with skill.
Derick is called "The Ruthless Iron King" in school because of his rigidness about rules.
Although he seems heartless, he's actually more than willing to risk himself to save his comrades.
He has a habit of raising his voice if he's anxious. The louder his voice means the more nervous he is.
For some reason, he managed to caught troublemakers right in the act most of the time. It almost as if he had a weird radar to tracks rulebreakers.
Derick is very respectful towards people with higher rank or older than him.
Derick's fierce attitude is always the same towards men or women alike.
Although he's always claimed that he didn't care about his worthless father, in truth he really wants to meet and speak with him.
